Launching on 13 February 2026, the Health Translation Queensland Mentorship and Training Program 2026 is designed to support emerging and early- to mid-career research-active health professionals to build the knowledge, confidence and networks needed to translate research into real-world health impact.
Co-designed with HTQ’s 6 health service partners and clinician-researchers, the program aims to build the research capability of research-active health professionals through targeted training, cross-disciplinary networking, and personalised support and mentoring.
The program is open to 20 health professionals from HTQ’s 6 health service partners – Children’s Health Queensland, Metro North Health, Metro South Health, Gold Coast Health, West Moreton Health, and Mater – who are either:

Applications for the HTQ Mentorship and Training Program are now open and close on 13 March 2026.
Applications are reviewed by a panel from HTQ’s health service partners. Selection is based on the information provided by the applicant in the application form, and ensuring equity, diversity and representation across disciplines and HTQ’s health service partners.
Successful applicants will be notified by 13 April 2026, with the program officially commencing on 12 May 2026.
