Dr Lisa Tom
Dr Lisa Tom is a senior operations and research program leader with a career spanning biomedical research, strategic program delivery, and partnership development. After completing her PhD, she built extensive experience as a researcher before transitioning into research operations and program leadership, bringing deep scientific and sector insight to governance, strategic planning and program leadership.
As Senior Manager, Program Operations and Partnerships at HTQ, Lisa works closely with the Executive Director to operationalise HTQ’s Action Plan and oversee program delivery. She leads HTQ’s operational management and advances engagement across HTQ’s partner organisations, enabling effective collaboration between researchers, clinicians, health services and academic institutions.
In her role, Lisa focuses on strengthening governance, reporting, budgeting, and operational systems, and contributes to stakeholder engagement and national collaboration activities that advance coordinated research translation initiatives. Through her work, Lisa is committed to building strong operational foundations that reduce barriers, strengthen cross-institution collaboration, and accelerate the translation of knowledge into improved health outcomes.
