A number of policies and frameworks influence both health care and research, find out how they interconnect.
Health care and research are often seen within organisations as being separate; however, policies and frameworks are often closely aligned. Sara Hubbard, A/Research Governance Officer, Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service, will highlight and illustrate that there are often multiple frameworks and processes that apply to research integrity at play.
Dr Gordon McGurk, General Manager, Research Governance and Funding, QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, will highlight how to enliven policies and procedures in an organisation where there is a framework in place and how to ensure best practice is enacted.
Participants will come away from the seminar understanding that there are multiple frameworks and polices influencing research integrity and how these can impact on each other.
This session will be of value to research integrity advisors, managers and administrators working in research compliance and researchers who want to learn more about research integrity policies.
