Opening of February CCI Microgrants round

01 February 2026

Health Translation Queensland has opened the first 2026 round of its Consumer and Community Involvement (CCI) Microgrants Program, supporting early-stage research projects to embed meaningful consumer and community involvement from the outset.

The February round opened on 1 February 2026 and will close on 28 February 2026. The program offers grants of up to $1,500 to help researchers build strong consumer and community partnerships during project design and planning. Eligible activities include consumer remuneration, focus groups or workshops, and reimbursement of travel or accessibility supports.

The program is open to health and medical researchers, clinician-researchers and research teams across HTQ partner organisations. In 2026, five funding rounds will be offered in February, April, June, August and October.

For eligibility details and conditions and how to apply, please refer to the application guidelines and checklist on the CCI Microgrants Program web page.
