Health Translation Queensland (HTQ) and Children's Health Queensland are hosting a free grant writing workshop for all clinicians and researchers working in children’s health care in Queensland who would like to learn more about how to position grant applications for paediatric research. Professor John Prins, Executive Director of HTQ, will cover grant writing essentials such as how to craft a successful application with an effective cover letter and how to prepare for an interview during the grant application process. He will also give tips specific to women wanting to apply for the Children’s Hospital Foundation Mary McConnel Boost Program for Women in Paediatric Research.
