BDHP welcomes the $33 million in Federal Government funding

BDHP welcomes the $33 million in Federal Government funding, which will help to vital genomics research to continue in Queensland. BDHP continues to support collaboration across Queensland research projects, so that together we can advance our health system's understanding and ability to use genomics to combat disease, improve care and address related ethical, legal and social issues. The BDHP Partners who have received additional funding for research projects are: Queensland University of Technology
  • Genomic architecture of chronic disease in Australia’s First Peoples

  • Whole Genome Sequencing in high-risk breast cancer patients
  • Host gene expression signatures to diagnose sepsis in children
  • “We need to talk”: Genomics and disability
