Research Integrity Showcase - 25 June

The showcase highlights critical intersections of ethics and research integrity (RI) in real-world protocols and authorship decisions with a focus on:

  • analysing the ethics of protocol through practical lens
  • insights into authorship using an innovative decision support tool for research integrity assessment (RIA)
  • perspectives and tools to navigate ethical challenges in research.

This session will include 2 presentations:

  • Research Integrity and Ethics: Dissection of a Protocol
    Presented by: Sonia Hancock, Chair, Human Research Ethics Committee, Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service, and Manager, Research Integrity and Compliance, Metro South Health
  • Authorship considerations and decisions in scientific outputs
    Presented by: Professor Frederic Leusch, Dean (Research) and Professor, School of Environment and Science, Griffith University
