This issue shows that Queensland's health and medical research sector has much to celebrate. New $12 million National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) funding has been announced for accredited Research Translation Centres like Health Translation Queensland, and Queensland researchers making outstanding contributions to the sector have been recognised at state, national and international levels.
