Mental Health Workforce Hub

Mental Health Workforce Hub

Health Translation Queensland (HTQ) has developed a new Mental Health Workforce Hub, which will serve as a centralised online resource bringing together mental health training, education and research for the mental health workforce in Queensland and beyond.

Launched during Queensland Mental Health Week (5-13 October 2024), the online hub provides curated content and resources for mental health practitioners, professionals and researchers and those interested in entering the mental health sector.

A thorough consultation period undertaken in 2023 informed HTQ that there is an abundance of consumer and primary care focused platforms in mental health, but not a central Queensland hub for mental health training, education and research for mental health professionals.

HTQ then formed a Mental Health Collaborative Group who provides input into the content development and design of the online hub. The group consists of representatives with diverse mental health expertise and professional backgrounds from HTQ’s 13 partners and other organisations.

The online hub was built and tested by commissioned digital agency Marameo Design based on feedback from stakeholders and end users from the mental health sector.
