From previous National HREC Conferences.

Testimonial One

Great conference. I appreciated the online option to come and go as I needed to fit in around other commitments. Thank you.

Testimonial Two

It was a fantastic conference and very well done. Congratulations and sincere thanks to all involved. Keep doing the wonderful work you are doing in providing this amazing opportunity for HREC members. I am relatively new to the experience of being a HREC member, so I particularly appreciate having this kind of opportunity. Being a HREC member is an important responsibility that I take very seriously - but in my experience there are not a lot of opportunities to engage in ongoing professional development specific to the role of HRECs and HREC members. The number of people who attended the conference suggests I am not alone in my view of the need for, and appreciation of, these kinds of opportunities for HREC members.

Testimonial Three

Being on an HREC can sometimes feel like a lonely experience and this provided a supportive and encouraging environment that inspired thought and improvement in processes and activities of HRECs.

Testimonial Four

I really appreciated being able to attend online, at no cost. While I look forward to being able to attend conferences in person again at some stage, this did prove to be flexible. The keynote speakers were excellent - I felt privileged to be able to listen to such learned and articulate presenters. I thought the session chairs did a really good job of engaging in discussion with the presenters in a natural way, and posing interesting questions when there were no questions from the audience.
